New Alexandria Home Economics

 

About us...

Our club was organized in 1915. Members are involved in several projects inclulding, Textile Science, Food & Nutrition, Knitting, Crohet, Geology, Wood Science, Rockets Counted Cross-stitch, Macrame and Babysitting.

Members ...

Our club has approximately 34 members. The Officers are:

President: Linda King
Vice President: Justin Eaglehouse
Treasurer: Stephanie Kline
Secretary: Carla Mattei
Social Committee:Amelia King

Organizational Leader: Jean Bash
Assistants: Mrs. Flowers, Mrs. Ferry, and Mrs. Morelli
News Reporter: Pagie Sebedra

Meetings ...

Our meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the New Alexandria Community Center, Main St., New Alexandria. Textile Science meetings are held February through June. Food & Nutrition is July through October. Winter projects are Knitting, Crohet and Geology. November through February we complete the Wood, Rocket, Counted Cross-stitch, Macrame and Babysitting projects.

Every year, members participate in the Westmoreland County Fair
